Thursday evening’s sudden storm has forced the Town of Arnprior to exercise a bit of caution going into the weekend.
Town officials have added to the list of outdoor amenities that have been closed down until they can be declared safe for people to re-enter, with people urged to avoid the following sites until clean-up can be completed:
- Robert Simpson Park and Beach
- The Waterfront Trail between the park’s boat launch and the beach
- McLean Park, McLean Beach and McLean Ball Diamond #2
- Albert Street Cemetery
- Malloch Road Cemetery
The town expects to have more updates on the situation Friday afternoon at the earliest.
