Half the deck is gone, and the Renfrew Victoria Hospital Foundation is getting more excited with each weekly draw.
Patti Dillabough, the Foundation’s executive director, admits that there is a thrill in the air inside the hospital’s lobby every Thursday evening as their Catch the Ace lottery keeps rolling and the money raised keeps growing.
Community support for the lottery has once again been fantastic, according to Dillabough, who says everyone taking part online or at select locations within town has added to what is quickly turning into a life-changing progressive jackpot.
The lottery is also raising a life-saving amount of money for the hospital’s Equip RVH campaign, putting over $80,000 into a fund that Dillabough says has been busy purchasing vital equipment upgrades that will ensure quality care remains close to home.
The RVH Catch the Ace lottery’s week 26 draw will be broadcast online through Facebook starting at 5:00 pm this Thursday, July 17th.
