Renfrew's Summer Kid's Camp meets Mayor Tom Sidney inside council chambers.
Every week is a new adventure for kids living in Renfrew and neighbouring townships, and there’s still time to take part.
The Town of Renfrew’s Kid’s Camp continues its eight-week summer adventure, offering a perfect mix of recreation and educational activities that program supervisor Janyne Fraser says is perfect for social development, physical fitness, and creativity.
Each week-long camp features a special experience at one of several local attractions that Fraser and her team of student counsellors carefully research, geared specifically for kids aged 5 to 11.
With so many hidden gems on the agenda this summer, Fraser jokes that one of the most popular adventures surprisingly stands above the rest as a fan favourite amongst their campers.
Registration is still open online for the remaining weeks however some adventures have already been filled and are currently on a waitlist basis only. Questions and comments are welcome by email or by calling the town’s programming team at 613-432-4848 ext. 118.
