Renfrew has already gotten a taste of what you can expect every Sunday this summer as top local acts flock along the Bonnechere River.
The town’s ever-popular Music in the Park series is currently underway as concertgoers flock to O’Brien Park each week for an afternoon featuring some of the best musical talent the community has to offer, according to the town’s programming supervisor, Janyne Fraser.
Each show is free and features a carefully curated line-up of musicians and bands that fit exactly what the town and its programming staff look for when they schedule their major events each year.
We pressed Fraser for some of the acts that she’s looking forward to as Music in the Park continues to grow each year.
Visitors are invited to drop by O’Brien Park, just outside the McDougall Mill Museum, with a blanket, chair, and something for shade as Denny Welburn entertains from 1:00 to 3:00 pm this Sunday, July 13th.
