An important community service is reaching out for some help as the summer rages on.
Arnprior & District Food Bank manager Pat Tait recently released a note over social media looking for more donations, as their shelves have been depleted over the summer.
She explains that “everyone loves a hamburger or hotdog in the summer, but currently we are short of any fixings—from tomatoes, cucumbers, and pickles to all condiments like ketchup, mustard, and mayo!”
Tait adds that the Arnprior & District Food Bank is open for donations Monday mornings from 8:30 to noon and again Friday mornings from 8:00 to 10:00.
