TODAY: The Mill of Kintail begins their Outdoor Adventure Summer Day Camps for ages 6 – 12 this Monday, July 7th. Each week, campers will enjoy a variety of nature-themed games and adventurous activities that include time spent playing, learning and exploring in the forested trails, streams, and fields. Early drop-off and late pick-up is available with early registration.
TODAY: The Township of McNab/Braeside host their weekly paddle group every Monday morning at 9:00, offering a fun and friendly kayaking or paddleboarding adventure for all skill levels! This week, bring your own vessel to the Paddle Shack at Burnstown Beach, 1537 Calabogie Road, to enjoy the day for free OR rent one ahead of time for just $20 while supplies last. Also remember to bring your own life jacket, water bottle, and sunscreen! More information here.
TOMORROW: Mallard’s Milk Bar, 55 John Street North in Arnprior, welcome Hobby and Brock Mattsson on stage this Tuesday, July 8th! Hobby is a band that plays country rock with a wonderful vibe that will make you sway the night away. Brock Mattsson is a country singer who plays so lovely tunes. Tickets are $15 at the door, or purchase in advance at the shop with cash.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Public Library invites local teens to explore the world of Dungeons and Dragons this Tuesday evening from 4:00 to 8:00! Build a character and have an exciting adventure! Registration required, with spaces limited to 5 total. Ages 14-18.

The Renfrew Jr A Wolves are looking for billet families for the 2025-2026 season! The importance of billet families to the Wolves organization is immeasurable. Without billets, the team could not put a team on the ice! The goal of billet families is to provide an environment of support and trust with the players, giving them a home away from home.
