TODAY: The Renfrew Victoria Hospital Auxiliary invites you to enjoy a sweet treat this Friday from 9:00 to 1:00 when they set up their strawberry shortcake and Canada Day Bake Sale inside Scott & Sons Hardware Ltd, 150 Raglan St South! Proceeds go back to keeping care close to home RVH.
TODAY: The Sunshine Coach 2025 Friends of the Disabled Nine & Dine Golf Tournament is set for this Friday at the Renfrew Golf Club! Golfers will tee off with a shotgun start at 5:00 pm in support of the Renfrew Sunshine Coach, followed by a BBQ dinner.
TOMORROW: The North Algona Wilberforce Recreation Committee will take over the Sno-Drifters’ Bonnechere Cup track in Eganville on Saturday, June 28th, for their first ever Truck, Tractor, and Lawn Tractor Pull! On top of a large truck and vintage car show, plus food and fun for all ages thanks to support from local businesses, the day will feature a wide range of competitors looking to show off high-octane power in a number of categories. Admission is $20. Kids aged 12 and under get in for free.
TOMORROW: Special Olympics Renfrew is hosting a fundraising golf tournament at Dragonfly Golf Links this Saturday, June 28th, as they look to gather the money needed to send their Renfrew Millionaires softball team to a pair of tournaments as part of next month’s Ontario Provincial Games. $150 per player gets you a day of golf with cart, plus breakfast and dinner at the clubhouse, access to in-game competitions, a chance to win door prizes or at the silent auction, and a meet and greet with local OHL stars Kaden McGregor and Kent Greer.
