June is Stroke Awareness Month – an opportune time to raise awareness and funds for an important cause.

She tells us about the acronym that is used to help identify a stroke.
While stroke risk increases as people get older, it can happen to anyone at any age, according to the Heart and Stroke foundation. Also, stroke is on the rise — but more people survive.
