TODAY: McNab Public School presents their annual Fun Fair, this Thursday evening from 5:00 to 8:00 at 1164 Stewartville Rd! Bring the whole family out for games, face painting, inflatables, a BBQ, silent auction, and bake sale all supporting funding new playground equipment. Also, special guest visits from local firefighters and police, the Arnprior Ag Society, and Unicorn Kitty making balloon animals. Be sure to bring cash for the food and activities!
TODAY: The Renfrew Public Library dedicates each Thursday to Caregiver’s Corner, where Home Day Care providers are invited to bring their kiddos to the library for a special story-and-exploration time. Each hour long session starts at 10:00 am and is free, but space is limited. Book through the library’s website.
TOMORROW: The first ever Guitars and Gasoline Music Festival takes over Calabogie Motorsports Park June 6-8. Featuring headlines Blue Rodeo on Friday night and Josh Ross on Saturday night. Camping available. Tickets on sale now! www.guitarsandgasoline.com
TOMORROW: Renfrew’s Royal Canadian Legion hosts The Abba Story, this Friday evening at 7:00 pm! A 2 hour live tribute to the super group of the 70s and 80s ABBA preformed by 4 of Canada’s best tribute artists with spot on lyrics and fabulous costume changes! This is a must see show for all ABBA fans. Tickets available at the legion during normal legion business hours

The Renfrew Jr A Wolves are looking for billet families for the 2025-2026 season! The importance of billet families to the Wolves organization is immeasurable. Without billets, the team could not put a team on the ice! The goal of billet families is to provide an environment of support and trust with the players, giving them a home away from home. Pickleball Drill Time takes place one hour before the weekly Friday pickleball session at the myFM Centre. Practice your serves, dinking, forehands, and backhands in a self-guided format, sharpening your skills before putting them to use in a game. Please note that this is an unsupervised session. Join them at the arena from 9:00 to 10:00am through the month of May. $2 per session for residents of Renfrew and the neighboring townships. Register online.
