TODAY: Soar to new heights with the Renfrew Public Library! Kids ages 1-13 are welcome to drop-in at the library for a paper airplane contest this Monday morning starting at 9:00 am. Come fold your own creation and see how far you can make it fly! Can you set a new record for farthest flight? This event is free for all to enjoy!
TODAY: The Park & Play Trailer is coming to a neighbourhood park in Renfrew near you! Join us on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:00-7:00 pm, from May 7th-June 25th, including this Monday at Fortington Park, 285 Jordan Ave.! The trailer will have sporting equipment and games for free play.
TOMORROW: Free Community Friendship Meal at Trinity-St. Andrew’s United, 291 Plaunt St. S., Tuesday May 27 at 11:30 am. Menu is sloppy joes on a bun, with salad and s’mores for dessert. Everyone is welcome!
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Rotary Club’s Steak or Lobster Feast Dinner tempts you to dig in, either in person at the Renfrew Legion or pick up, on Tuesday May 27th. Dinner is served at your choice of either 6:00 pm or 7:30 pm. Tickets are $45 must be purchased ahead of time at the Legion, No Frills, Aikenhead’s, Metro or a Rotarian.

The Renfrew Jr A Wolves are looking for billet families for the 2025-2026 season! The importance of billet families to the Wolves organization is immeasurable. Without billets, the team could not put a team on the ice! The goal of billet families is to provide an environment of support and trust with the players, giving them a home away from home. Pickleball Drill Time takes place one hour before the weekly Friday pickleball session at the myFM Centre. Practice your serves, dinking, forehands, and backhands in a self-guided format, sharpening your skills before putting them to use in a game. Please note that this is an unsupervised session. Join them at the arena from 9:00 to 10:00am through the month of May. $2 per session for residents of Renfrew and the neighboring townships. Register online.
