Canadians are rallying to support local businesses and products in the wake of U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods and here in Renfrew County, there has always been strong endorsement to buy local and support the local businesses that create jobs, make products, provide services and contribute to our economy.
To support local business, the county recently launched the ‘Think Local’ campaign.
Melissa Marquardt, the manager of economic development for the county, explains that supporting local businesses is more than just a transaction – it’s an investment in the economic prosperity of Renfrew County.
