The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) Foundation is once again singing the praises of the hospital auxiliary, which recently presented its annual donation – a whopping $40,000.
Foundation executive director Patti Dillabough explains that every year the foundation gets a donation from the Auxiliary, an organization that’s been around for well over 60 years.
The cheque presentation was made at the auxiliary’s spring fashion show, just one of a variety of fundraising initiatives.
Along with at the gift shop, the auxiliary’s 60-plus volunteers can be found working at the clinics and in chronic care, acting as waitresses at senior’s luncheons, delivering meals-on wheels and more.
And what’s more impressive than this year’s total is the incredible support over the years.
