The Upper Ottawa Valley (UOV) detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver with impaired after a collision.
On April 19, just before 2 a.m., OPP received information regarding a collision on Barron Canyon Road in in Laurentian Valley Twp. Police located the driver who was injured. The driver and lone occupant of the motorcycle was transported to a local hospital.
A 29-year-old Petawawa resident was charged with impaired operation.
The accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days and the vehicle was towed and impounded for seven days. The accused was released to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Pembroke on May 20.
