The Renfrew Victoria Hospital (RVH) Foundation is all set to kick off a brand-new initiative – a 50/50 draw that will be launched at this weekend’s myFM Home, Cottage and Leisure Show and wrap up at the myFM Friends in Low Places Block Party May 24.
Patti Dillabough, executive director of the RVH Foundation, says the organization wanted to try something new and wanted to do something in conjunction with the concert.
The myFM Friends in Low Places Block Party, sponsored by KeyMac Motorsports, is all set for Saturday, May 24, at the myFM Centre, featuring Garth Brooks tribute band A Black Tie Affair.
Foundation officials are pleased to be working with myFM for the initiative and looking forward to the draw and concert.
The extended length of time to purchase the tickets allows those who might not be at the concert to still get involved and have a chance to win, said Dillabough, adding that the draw will take place at the concert at 9:30 p.m.
Funds raised through the 50/50 will be put to good use, she said.
Tickets will be available for purchase at renfrewhosp5050.ca and with cash in-person, beginning at the myFM Home Show this weekend – look for the RVH booth.
