TODAY:Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church, 291 Plaunt St South, is hosting the World Day of Prayer, Friday, March 7 at 2pm, with refreshments to follow. Everyone welcome.
TODAY: The Town of Renfrew invites you to a Seniors, Parents, and Tots Skate this Friday from 10:30 a.m. to noon at the myFM Centre on Pad #2. These exclusive time slots allow for a more casual experience that’s perfect for younger and elderly skaters, as well as for taking your tot along in a stroller. Don’t forget your helmet!
TOMORROW: The Take’er to Dacre St. Paddy’s Day Party gets going at the Dacre and Area Community Association Centre this Saturday afternoon from 12:30 to 5:30! Featuring 3 bands – The Ryan’s with Louis Schryer and Terri-Lynn Mahusky, The Riverthieves (first time playing at DACA) and The Fiddlaires. Step Dancers are Gaia & Nairi Adjemian and Owen Lavender. Doors open at 11:30, $25 Admission for adults and $13 for kids 13 & under. Our kitchen will be serving Irish Stew, sandwiches, hotdogs and a variety of snacks all afternoon.
TOMORROW: Merv’s Spring Fling II returns to the Renfrew Wing this Saturday for an evening of fun, food, and live music with the community, featuring the band Daybreak along with Ryerson Warren’s Tribute to Johnny Cash! This year’s dress theme is tropical. Proper shoes are required- other than that, get creative! Doors open at 7:00 pm, with admission by freewill donation in support of Hospice Renfrew.
