The Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating an assault that led to one person being charged.
On Jan. 11, around 5:45 p.m., officers responded to reports of a dispute at a residence in McNab-Braeside township.
As a result of the investigation, a 24-year-old from McNab-Braeside was charged with two counts of assault and mischief under $5,000.
The accused remains in custody pending a bail hearing.
