Cogeco is telling myFM News that a cut fibre line has shut down internet services for around 10,000 customers in the Renfrew and Pembroke area.
The internet service provider says they were first alerted to the issue at around 4:30 in the morning on Thursday.
Splicing crews have been dispatched to mend the line, but customer service warns that fixing the issue could take up to early this afternoon.
