TODAY: The myFM Centre hosts a pair of free public skates this Friday, catering to all skill levels as part of the holiday season! First, Seniors and Tots can enjoy a leisurely skate at their own pace on the second ice pad from 10:30 to noon! Arena staff will clean the rink up in time for the general public to enjoy some ice time from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m., courtesy of Ontario Power Generation.
TODAY: Space is still open to join future coders at the Renfrew Public Library for their Fiero Coding Club, Friday afternoons from 4:oo to 5:00 p.m.! Learn to code using a variety of coding scripts in a fun and interactive way! You can also compete in missions to win awesome robot prizes! Sign up and you can also play at home. Register online.
TOMORROW: Switch it your weekend with a special Nintendo Switch tournament happening this Saturday at the Renfrew Public Library. The day starts with a special opportunity for younger players aged 7-10 with the Junior Bracket from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Afterwards, the Seniors Bracket will test the mettle of in the chosen game of the week. Registration for both the Junior and Senior Tournament can be done online, but is not required to take part.
ALL WEEKEND: Drop by for après ski live music at the Black Donald’s Pub in the Calabogie Peaks Resort, Saturday and Sunday afternoon from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. Grab a glass or can of your favourite beverage and snack on our delicious menu items. Open to the public.
