Most of Renfrew is rightfully thinking about holiday traditions this week, but the fun doesn’t have to stop come Boxing Day.
Renfrew’s popular New Years double-header is set to make its return to the myFM Centre’s Community Hall next week, starting off bright and early with their Frew Years Eve celebration happening all morning on Tuesday, December 31st.
Programs Supervisor Janyne Fraser lays out what to expect from the town’s take on Noon Years Eve.
Fraser says the family-friendly Frew Years Eve is a great chance for Renfrew’s younger generation to get in on the celebration, adding that it’s the perfect fit alongside the proper New Years Dinner and Dance that will be held just a few hours later.
She also points out that it is last call for people hoping to get in on that evening’s New Years Dinner and Dance, with the deadline to pick up your tickets from Town Hall, the Public Library, or the Reception Office inside the myFM Centre on Monday, December 23rd.
For what you’ll get to enjoy, Fraser says it’s worth the last second hustle to secure your spot for $60 each.
The myFM Centre’s Community Hall opens for Frew Years Eve at 8:30 a.m. on Tuesday December 31st, with all of the morning’s entertainment and snacks free of charge.
Staff will close the area off shortly after 12:00 p.m. in preparation for the New Years Dinner and Dance, which gets underway at 6:30 p.m. that evening.
