
You probably already know that the 2025 IIHF World Junior Championships are coming to Ottawa and as such, along with hosting Team Latvia’s training camp, the Town of Arnprior is hosting a Latvia/Switzerland exhibition game Dec. 23 as well as an exhibition game between Germany and Kazakhstan on Thursday, Dec. 19 at 7 p.m. at the Nick Smith Centre.
Are you going to the games? There are several things you should know, including:
- Doors open at 5:30 p.m., including FanFest, the pre-game activity in the Community Hall that features kids games, a sign making station, and more.
- There will be no in and out privileges.
- No bags, alcohol, weapons, cameras, or outside food and drink will be allowed.
- No smoking or vaping inside or outside the Nick Smith Centre will be permitted. You will not be able to leave the event to smoke and return.
- Parking is very limited. Please carpool if possible and utilize nearby street parking.
- A free shuttle is available. Visit Arnprior.ca/WJC to view the schedule.
- A ticket is required to enter the building. There will be no tickets available for purchase at the door.
