Gateway Church in Arnprior has a special event coming up that’s sure to get you in the mood for Christmas.
Church volunteer Tiffany Lepack tells us that Gateway will host showings of three much-loved Christmas movies this Friday and Saturday.
Lepack said she approached church officials with the idea for the event, and all were quick to get behind it.
The event should be a great way for young and old alike to gather, share some Christmas spirit and get in the mood for the upcoming holiday season.
There will be popcorn, drinks and other refreshments available to purchase.
For those who are willing and able, there will be a collection for the Arnprior and District Food Bank.
Most-needed items include: hot chocolate in the box, coffee, dry cereal, hot oatmeal, ketchup, mayonnaise, relish, pickles, flour, and sugar, said Lepack.
Friday, Nov. 29 at 7 p.m. is the Santa Clause with Tim Allen; then on Saturday, Nov. 30, at 1:30 p.m. is The Star and then at 7 p.m. is the 2018 cartoon version of The Grinch.
Gateway Church is located at 128 Mary St. in Arnprior.
