Police in Renfrew say a late night drive has turned into charges for both people in the car.
Officers pulled a car over along Highway 17 after catching them speeding at around 12:40 a.m. on Monday, November 11th.
After an investigation that included a roadside breath test, the 25-year-old driver from McNab/Braeside was charged with being a novice driver with blood alcohol concentration above zero, operating while impaired, speeding, and failing to surrender an insurance card.
The passenger in the vehicle was also charged on an outstanding warrant.
