The season is winding down but there are still a number of ongoing construction projects in Renfrew County.
Among the ongoing projects are:
County Road 37/ Murphy Road, Petawawa – The reconstruction of Murphy Road, from Woodland Crescent to Petawawa Boulevard, commenced construction on June 17 and is anticipated to be completed late-November. During construction, the road will be reduced to a single lane of traffic in locations and short-term closures will occur with detours in place.
County Road 508/Calabogie Road, Township of McNab/Braeside – The rehabilitation of Calabogie Road, from Burnstown Road to Goshen Road, began the week of Sept. 9 and is anticipated to be completed early-November. During construction, the road will be reduced to a single lane of traffic in locations.
County Structure B007/Butler Bridge, Township of Admaston/Bromley – The rehabilitation of Butler Bridge, located on Butler Road, approximately 1km south of Highway 60, began on May 13 and is anticipated to be completed early-November. During construction, the road at the bridge is closed with alternate routes, using South McNaughton Road, Bonnechere Road, and Highway 60, posted.
County Structure C204/Bellowes Creek Culvert, Township of Whitewater Region – The rehabilitation of Bellowes Creek Culvert, located on Westmeath Road, approximately 4.5km east of Beachburg Road, commenced on July 15 and is anticipated to be completed early-November. During construction, the road at the structure will be limited to a single lane of alternating traffic at times.
