TODAY: Time to get holiday shopping done at the Holiday Night Market, this Friday starting at 5:00 p.m. at the John A. Gillies Rec Centre in McNab/Braeside! Shop a wide variety of local hand-made products sold by talented vendors while enjoying entertainment and signature cocktails.
TODAY: St. Michael’s Catholic School in Douglas will bring back it’s hugely successful “Girl’s Night Out,” Friday night from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. in support of their students! Come and see a diverse range of products being showcased by our 30+ vendors. Everything from beautifully crafted artisanal work, to unique products and fresh local baking. The beautiful gift baskets, generously donated by local business are back with even more selection than before.
TOMORROW: Join your Renfrew Wolves on November 9th at 7:30 PM at MYFM Centre as they take on the Pembroke Lumber Kings in a special Remembrance Day game. This night is dedicated to honouring the brave men and women who served our country. All veterans from the local Legion branch and active Canadian Armed Forces members are invited to attend for free. Simply show your veteran’s card or if you’re an active Canadian Armed Forces Member dressed in uniform for free entry.
ALL WEEKEND: Don’t miss out on the 3rd Annual Cobden Christmas Market, this Saturday and Sunday at the Cobden Agricultural Hall on Astrolabe Road. Check out all varieties of delightful creations from more than 40 vendors, who will be happy to help you find the perfect fit for every name on your list from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm both days! Admission is free! (This event has no relation with the Cobden Farmer’s Market)
