TODAY: Renfrew Public Library invites families to enjoy an interactive program for children plus a parent, grandparent or guardian. Come and discover what is hiding within the Storybook Cupboard this Monday, November 4th! Space is limited, find out more online.
TODAY: Join the Township of McNab/Braeside in making a Christmas themed doormat, This Monday at the John A. Gillies Centre. Pick from five templates, with all craft supplies provided and the canteen/bar will be open! Doormat size- 16″x24″. $30 plus tax to take part. Register online.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew County Health Coalition will continue it’s Trojan Horse tour of the Ottawa Valley this Tuesday, November 9th, “to protest the Ford government’s privatization of our public hospital services.” The community is encourage to meet to coalition for more information while they stop outside Arnprior Regional Health from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The horse will also make stops in Almonte and Carleton Place throughout the day.
TOMORROW: Beth Donovan Hospice and Hospice Renfrew host Rural Hospice Day, November 5th at the myFM Centre. This year’s theme is Bridging the Gap, which will explore and address care gaps and focus on building resilience within our communities. Tickets $65 includes breakfast, lunch a full day of activities: networking, panel discussions, breakout sessions and Keynote Speaker, Dr. Michael Ungar, PH.D.
