Live Love Art is Patrick John Mills’ motto and he’s inviting the community to share in that mission with his latest project.
Mills took to social media, alongside Abby Testu, to announce the project.
Sitting before piles of wooden signs that spell out ‘LOVE,’ Mills and Testu explained that community members are welcome to drop by the Art Factory or the Carleton Place Gallery to pick up one of the signs for free.
Then, explains Testu, paint it, decorate it, do what moves you.
Mills tells us that it can be left out in the community for random people to find, or given to a loved one.
And if you find one in the community, either re-hide it or bring it home and make a place for it, said Mills.
The world could use more love, creativity and fun, he said.
And whether you’re painting a LOVE sign or you find one, Mills and Testu would love to see it shared on social media, in the comments below the project posts with the hashtag #loveart #liveloveartfactory.
