For the second time this year, police are investigating vandalism to the ‘High Country Estates’ sign on Centennial Lake Road in Greater Madawaska Township.
A press release from the Renfrew Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) outlines the incident.
“On Sunday, Sept. 22, Renfrew OPP received a report of a damage to a business sign. It had been cut down with a chainsaw,” reads the release.
This is the second time the sign has been vandalized. This spring, the sign was shot at with a shotgun.
