Don’t say the word out loud unless you want your pet to get the zoomies, but there’s a special W-A-L-K that you can take them on this weekend.
Valley Animal Rescue’s annual Wag and Walk fundraiser has found a new home along the Fractured Crow Studio’s property on 982 Fraser Road, according to the studio’s Reggie Armonas.
Armonas says the property features two beautiful, stroller-accessible walking paths for the community to enjoy as they support animals looking for a forever home in the Ottawa Valley.
She says VAR have also been busy putting together lunch for everyone taking part, adding that the rescue has made preparing for the event a breeze.
Registration and donations can be made on the day of the event, but Armonas adds that you can also make pledges ahead of time.
Valley Animal Rescues’ Wag and Walk takes place this Sunday, September 22nd, from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Pets of all sizes are welcome on leashes. Pledge forms can be found on their Facebook page.
