It’s a chilling reminder that summer will not last forever.
The Town of Renfrew is getting out in front of winter driving conditions by answering a few frequently asked questions on topics like how the town prioritizes plowing streets, winter parking restrictions, sanding and salting, snow removal, property lines, what to do if a town-owned plow damages your yard, and more.
For example, any complaints sent to town hall will be recorded and addressed as soon as possible, but the town reminds you that a winter storm could make it difficult for staff to deal with it immediately.
The FAQ also touches on how you can help town staff while they’re cleaning up our streets this winter. They say that can be as easy as being patient as the town cleans up after a snowfall, keeping your garbage and recycling bins off sidewalks, and being a good neighbour for those who need help clearing out driveways.
You can see all the answers on the Town of Renfrew’s website.
