THIS WEEKEND: The 169th Renfrew Fair opens its gates to the public for four days of food, fun and games, live music, agricultural exhibitions, and more starting this Thursday, September 5th. Admission and midway tickets are available on site, with bundles featuring tickets to each evening’s concerts also available online.
TODAY: The Golden Age Activity Centre welcomes you to enjoy lunch and a show with them this Friday at noon! Enjoy beef stew and dessert plus entertainment from Nick Leben starting at 1:00 p.m. Be sure to sign up at their downtown office by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday to take part!
TOMORROW: The Arnprior Legion Hosts their Golf Tournament Fundraiser this Saturday, September 7th, at the Madawaska Golf Club. 4- Person scramble with shotgun start at 10 a.m. $60 per person, or $30 for Madawaska Golf Course members. Price Included 18 rounds of golf, Cart Rental, and dinner at the legion afterward.
TOMORROW: The Renfrew Legion Ladies Auxiliary will also be busy on Saturday morning from 8:30 to 11:00, as they welcome the community over for a pancake breakfast at the Legion Branch on Raglan Street– pancakes, sausages, juice, tea & coffee. Adults $10, kids $5.
