The Pembroke Regional Hospital Foundation (PRHF) is pleased to announce the addition of Rod Sinclair to its volunteer Board of Directors for the 2024-2027 term. The Foundation, guided by dedicated volunteers, benefits from their professional expertise and commitment to fundraising and strategic direction.
Rod Sinclair, a Chartered Accountant since 2008, brings extensive experience in tax compliance, financial reporting, and business consulting across various industries, including construction, manufacturing, insurance, and not-for-profits. Beyond his professional life, Rod enjoys spending time with his wife and four children, particularly on the ski slopes and the Ottawa River.
Expressing his enthusiasm, Rod said, “I am excited to join the PRH Foundation to give back to the hospital that is so important to our community and my family. I feel my skills will be an asset to the board and am eager to get started.”
Roger Martin, Executive Director at PRHF, shared his excitement about Rod’s appointment: “Rod’s experience will enrich and strengthen our team. A solid and dedicated Board is crucial as the fundraising landscape continues to evolve. We are deeply grateful to all our Board members who donate their time and talents to improving health care in our region.”
Rod joins an already strong and diverse board, which includes Lisa Edmonds (Chair), Terry Lussier (Co-Chair), Kim Drake (Treasurer), Sabine Mersmann (Director), Andre Mickovitch (Director), Dr. Fred Matzinger (Director), Jenny Hodgson (Director), and Marsha Hawthorne (Director).
The Foundation also extends its heartfelt thanks to outgoing Board member Brandie Lariviere for her dedicated service. Her contributions have been invaluable in ensuring accessible health care in the community.
