Applications are now open for the new $200 million Community Sport and Recreation Infrastructure Fund.
Ontario Premier Doug Ford told the crowd at the annual Association of Municipalities of Ontario Annual Conference these sites are the heartbeat of a community.
The premier lays out the funding details.
For-profit organizations can also apply for funding support on new builds only.
The province says these investments makes it easier for people to create healthier, more active lifestyles, makes sports more accessible, and helps more communities across the province host local, national and international events and competitions.
