This Friday’s Hospice Renfrew Golf Classic at the Renfrew Golf Club is full, but that doesn’t mean you still can’t take part! The hospice is still selling tickets for the $2000 golf ball drop and the draw for a gazebo courtesy of Protyre Renfrew right up until both are drawn on Friday evening. Head to the Hospice Renfrew website to purchase your tickets.
The Centrepiece of the Racing Season in the Ottawa Valley gets underway on Friday! The Calabogie Summer Classic brings seven racing series to Calabogie Motorsports Raceway this weekend, including the first local run of the Miata Canada Cup. More details and tickets can be found online.
St. Andrews United Church, 1044 Madawaska Street in Calabogie, is hosting a fish fry this Saturday afternoon from 4:30 to 6:30. Enjoy a delicious platter of fried fish, fries, lemon, tartar sauce, coleslaw, cake ,tea/coffee and cold drinks. Cost- for 2 pieces of fish $20.00 for 1 piece of fish $15.00
Renfrew’s Pet Valu and Pawramedics Pet First Aid are hosting a an evening of first aid courses. 2 Courses will be available – $45 to attend one, $60 to attend both. Registration required by email, with partial payment up front to reserve your spot. Everyone who registers and attends will receive a to go pet first aid kit included in the fee (worth $20). Proceeds benefitting Arnprior Regional Cat Rescue.
