You may not be able to tee off at this week’s Hospice Renfrew fundraiser, but you can still pitch in.
The Hospice Renfrew Golf Classic will field a full course of golfers this Friday, August 16th, at the Renfrew Golf Club. However, Director Kevin Cherry says there are other ways you can contribute and potentially win.
Entry into the $2000 Great Golf Ball Drop is limited ahead of the balls being hoisted into the air and dropped onto the 18th green on Friday evening. You’ll also have until Friday evening to buy your ticket for a chance to win a 10′ by 12′ wood gazebo presented by Protyre Renfrew.
You can enter both fundraisers for $10 each, with the money helping to support the six-bed palliative care facility provide full-time 24/7 nursing care, including physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort, free of charge to all residents of Renfrew County and the nearby area.
Cherry sends his thanks to the team putting the Golf Classic together for providing many ways for the community to pitch in during what some might consider Hospice Renfrew’s signature summer fundraiser.
Tickets for both the gazebo draw and the golf ball drop can be purchased through the Hospice Renfrew website.
