Dairy farmers from across the Ottawa Valley are honouring one of their own with something new for students in agriculture.
The Renfrew County Milk Producers Committee is ready to help the next generation by opening up applications for the Patrick van Lindenberg memorial scholarship, named for the local teenaged dairy farmer whose sudden death rocked the community earlier this summer.
The scholarship is open for any Renfrew County student enrolled in college, university, or the trades who want to use that education in connection with agriculture.
The deadline to apply is August 20th, and the RDCP has offered a look at the form applicants will need to fill out on social media.
