Canadian Astronaut Joshua Kutryk
The Renfrew Public Library’s summer reading club is going out of this world with help from the Canadian Space Agency.
Astronaut Joshua Kutryk appears in a special video message courtesy of the CSA, encouraging young readers and future explorers to make the most of the summer break as he prepares for his mission on the International Space Station.
He says books are the rocket fuel that can instantly transport you to whole new worlds at the turn of a page.
He goes on urge Renfrew’s youth to let their curiosity carry them through the cosmos to different times and new horizons.
The library is in the middle of their Cosmic Crusaders Summer Reading Club full of amazing space adventures and special activities, which you can sign up for online.
