Speed can kill, but the Killaloe OPP say the most recent case of it thankfully only led to a ticket.
Just before noon on June 28th, officers pulled a 24-year-old driver from Kanata along Highway 60 in the Township of Killaloe, Hagarty, and Richards after catching them going 125 km/h in a posted 70 km/h zone.
The driver was charged with stunt driving and had their license suspended for thirty days. Their car was towed away and impounded for two weeks.
Meanwhile, the OPP reminds you that aggressive driving is a leading factor in fatal motor collisions on the roads they patrol.
