Hospice Renfrew is teeing up an amazing opportunity to help them keep end-of-life care close to home.
Director Kevin Cherry gives us the details on their annual Hospice Golf Classic.
Not only will attendees get to enjoy a full round of golf with meals provided, but the hospice will have even more chances to help the cause, including once-in-a-life opportunities at memorabilia courtesy of a Renfrew native and longtime friend of the hospice.
Cherry explains that the Golf Classic is an important part of keeping the lights on at the six-bed palliative care residence, which provides full-time 24/7 nursing care, including physical, emotional, and spiritual comfort, free of charge to all residents of Renfrew County and the nearby area.
The hospice is also hosting a draw for a finely crafted gazebo provided by Protyre Renfrew, which will be handed out on the day of the golf classic. Tickets are $10 each.
