Condolences are pouring in today following the sudden death of Mark Van Rijswijk, co-owner and operations manager of the new Final Score Sports Bar in Renfrew.
“It’s with a heavy heart that we have to announce the passing of our Ops Manager and Co-owner Mark Van Rijswijk,” reads a July 2 social media post.
Van Rijswijk, a father and husband, was also co-owner of several Carleton Place eateries, including the original Final Score Sports Bar, the Waterfront Gastropub and Trailside Canteen.
All were closed Tuesday.
“We are sorry for any inconvenience and we hope you will join us in our thoughts for his family,” reads the post.
