Priorpalooza is of course known for its music- but the event includes entertainment provided for the younger set.
In her Mayor’s Report on the June 1st event, Lisa McGee indicates that she and peers Denault and Cloutier took part in a game of “Simon Says”. Among the elected officials, four-term Councillor Lynn Cloutier proved most adept at paying attention- and was the last eliminated.
The Mayor continued her account of the frivolity at the Festival by giving us a play-by-play recap of a tricycle race between she and Councillor Billy Denault, officiated by Recreation Programming and Events Coordinator Lucas Power.
Lisa McGee asserts she asked after the events rules, and was given the green flag to do whatever she wished to win.
The wily McGee emerged the victor.
She says the friendly competition between the two is now tied at two wins apiece- but our story doesn’t end there.
At the conclusion of her Mayor’s Report, County Councillor Dan Lynch made an impromptu presentation to Councillor Denault and Mayor McGee-
We’re not sure to whom the miniature trike trophies should be invoiced, but in Councillor Denault’s defence, he did best Mayor McGee in the sledge hockey competition between he and she earlier in the year.
