The rehabilitation of a portion of Stone Road/County Road 5 in Admaston-Bromley Township is underway and municipal officials are advising the public of several closures related to the construction.
Work is being done on Stone Road from Mhusk Road to Highway 60 and the project is expected to be complete by mid-July.
To facilitate the replacement of two culverts, the road will have to be closed to all traffic for two days at each location. Separate notices will be posted for the closures. The road will be closed to all traffic June 11 and 12 between 2689 and 2779 Stone Road and June 13 and 14 between 2933 Stone Road and Sheahan Road for culvert replacements.
Officials say that during the remainder of the construction the road will remain open to traffic but will be reduced to one lane at times with minor delays. They thank residents and motorists in advance for their patience and cooperation as they undertake the infrastructure improvements.
