Renfrew County Junior Farmers are hosting a Kids Farm Safety Day on Saturday, June 1.
Children ages six to 15 are invited for a day of fun and learning about farm hazards and how to prevent injuries.
Safety topics will include: chemicals; tractors and PTOs; fire safety; manure pit and water; grain; and animals.
The event at the Renfrew Fairgrounds is free to attend and a pizza lunch will be provided. Parents are encouraged to stay but may drop their kids off for the day.
The event runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
