The agency helping our local seniors is turning to the community for a new project they’re working on.
Renfrew and Area Seniors’ Home Support are looking for people to become Friendly Visitors- volunteers who would make home visits with their clients, offering social interaction and helping to alleviate loneliness.
They’re currently looking for at least 3 female volunteers to take part in the initiative, with applications currently available at their agency office at 214 Raglan Street South, next door to the Golden Age Activity Centre.
You can also help by spreading the word about the project, as it is currently an urgent need.
