Now stepping up to the plate… is you!
The Town of Renfrew has teamed up with Steve Madaire of Ottawa Valley SloPitch for a Pre-Canada Day charity 3-pitch ball tournament at the Ma-te-Way Park ball diamonds on June 30th.
Teams and volunteers are invited to join on for the free Coed event, which will be raising cash and non-perishable food in support of the Renfrew and District Food Bank.
There will also be a ten dollar Home Run Derby with unlimited buy-ins through the first round of competition, with prizes on the line for the tournament’s top slugger.
You can register a team or pledge to help run the event by getting in touch with the Town of Renfrew’s programming team.
