Registration for May 2024 Pickleball Sessions will open on Monday, April 29 at 12 o’clock noon! Come play pickleball at the myFM Centre in the new Home Hardware Gymnasium! This is a great place to play if you are new to the sport, or if you like to play recreationally. Come get some exercise and socialize! $3.00 + HST for each 2-hour session.
The Walking Club invites you to join them for a few loops around the myFM Centre’s walking track on Monday, April 29th at 6:30 p.m. Pack a jacket and get active with other community members!
The Renfrew Public Library hosts Community Activity Days this Tuesday: a three week cycle featuring either an art workshop, a (board or card) game extravaganza, or a discovery presentation to learn more about our community and the wider world. This week’s featured game is Monopoly! Register here.
The Renfrew Rotary’s Musical Festival will be handing out award for the young musicians who sang and played earlier this month. Drop by Trinity St. Andrews Church Wednesday, May 1st at 7:00 p.m. to congratulate aspiring musicians in our community!

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
The Renfrew Tennis Club’s instructor, Robert Pelletier, is once again offering his free Intro to Tennis clinics, a great opportunity to try a new sport! Join them at the Ma-te-Way Park tennis courts this Monday, April 29th from 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and again from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 1st and Thursday, May 2nd. Racquets will be available if you don’t have one.
For the month of May, Renfrew Herd Renfrew Prep Basketball will be hosting a weekly basketball clinics each Wednesday! Boys and girls ages 12-16 can take part in sessions every Wednesday in May, with each lesson focusing on a different aspect of basketball with Renfrew Prep’s National team coaches.
