Celebrate National Canadian Film Day at the Renfrew Public Library! All day on Wednesday starting at 9:00 a.m., the Library will be showing movies from a wide range of spectacular Canadian filmmakers. Plus, free popcorn! Learn more here.
Fondation Émergence hosts a Chosen Family workshop at 290 Rue Marion, Shawville on Wednesday, April 17th. It’s a public meetup to raise awareness among health network professionals about sexual and gender diversity and the issues faced by LGBTQI+ caregivers. Register here. Trinity-St. Andrew’s United Church has it’s regular choir session set for this Thursday, April 18th. It’s an open group and you’re welcome to join them from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. In addition to singing on Thursday evenings, the choir leads the congregation in song each Sunday morning. (The choir takes a break for July and August)

LOCAL SPORTS: Support Our Teams!
Renfrew’s Outdoor Tennis & Pickleball Courts at the myFM Centre are now open! Membership fees can be bought starting at $70 for adults 18-64. Discounts are available for younger residents, with registration available through the Town of Renfrew website.
The Renfrew Wolves will participate in the Central Canada Hockey League draft this Thursday, April 18th. Follow along with the picks as they come in on their Facebook page.
