Invasive Species Awareness Week wraps up Sunday (March 3rd), but the issue is a year-round concern.
There are some simple things you can do to help reduce the risk of inadvertent spread:
Clean your shoes after a hike; buy local firewood and burn it where you buy it- and thoroughly clean your boat.
While you haven’t been paying attention, some new invaders are making themselves right at home, including Oak Wilt in Ontario’s Golden Horseshoe.
