Cleanup efforts are underway following some significant snowfall that had Environment Canada on alert all Thursday.
The Federal agency did not think enough of last night’s snow to put out a weather warning. However, the County of Renfrew would call it a significant weather event, impacting travel and services through the Ottawa Valley.
Keep in mind that municipal crews will be out clearing local roads and sidewalks this morning, and give yourself extra time to make your destination in case of delays.
The Renfrew County Joint Transportation Consortium says all busing and transportation services for the Zone 4 Madawaska area has been canceled for today due to last night’s weather. All other buses are currently running and all schools remain open for today.
