A Renfrew landmark will join others from across the globe to raise awareness about a rare neurogenetic condition.
Odi’s Kingburger will light up in blue on Thursday, February 15th, in support of Odi’s granddaughter, Ever, as she lives with Angelman Syndrome.
Ever’s mom, Robin Hisko, explains how Angelman Syndrome, which causes developmental delays in children, has had an impact on her family.
She says that they are blessed that there is a growing community supporting each other and foundations working on a cure.
Odi’s will not be the only place in Renfrew expected to show their support for Angelman Syndrome awareness, as Hisko says they will be joined by friends across the Ottawa Valley and beyond.
More information on Angelman Syndrome and how you can help make an impact can be found here.
