Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Rain Warning for the Ottawa Valley. Weather officials say the clouds will move in tonight, bringing that freezing rain and we could see 5 to 10 mm of ice build up. Freezing rain is expected to last for many hours before tapering off Thursday morning. Surfaces like highways, roads, walkways, and parking lots will become icy, slippery, and hazardous. Ice build-up may also cause tree branches to break. Utility outages may occur and consider postponing non-essential travel until conditions improve. Stay with us for the latest.
